The twenty years of the 20 century

In the twenty years of 20 century the women start to fell the freedom-the crinoline(a skirt with whalebone in bell shape),the corset and the fussy dresses are gone.

The women start to search for their place in the society and search for their rights. In this period the dominating style is the garson,which comes from the novel `La Garson` which is about a lady of easy virtue who used to wear man clothes-shirts,ties,she become the symbol of the woman of the 20 years of the 20 century. There also is a haircut with the same name `garson` which is very short sometimes curly.

The make-up in this time is very poor.The length of the skirts is cut and its length is almost to the knees.The legs of the trouser are expanded.Here fot the first time the trench coat appears,it is the casual type of the military coat from the World War 1 made of wool or cotton.
