The lace is textile full of holes with different forms, hand knitted or machine. Two of the most common types lace are the one made with hammer and the one made with needles. At the beginning the lace is used for decoration only for royal and church clothes but in 17 and 18 century is widely used for decorating hats,flounce,apron and dresses. Firstly the lace is made by flaxen threads form the beginning of 19 century it is knitted from cotton.
